Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has unveiled the first ever direct scanning laser tracker, Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600. The ATS600 is ready to meet the challenges of these new applications with a unique working principle that can accurately locate a point in 3D space with metrology-grade accuracy without the need for a reflector at the point of measurement.

With the Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600, objects that previously required significant time investments to digitise, or which were even beyond the realistic possibility of efficient measurement, can be quickly brought into the world of 3D analysis by a single operator.

Metrologic Group is pleased to be amongst the first to integrate the new Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600 with Metrolog X4.

“We wanted to support the new ATS600 tracker right at the release. Taking advantage of the latest innovation developed by Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, we are very enthusiastic  to  offer our customers access to this new generation of trackers” says Bertrand Gili, President of Metrologic Group. Perhaps you wish you could also use this generation of tracker in conjunction with a robot… Get the most of it, because it is already functional with the X4 i-Robot 3D measurement suite!

Metrologic Group innovates and demonstrates its reactivity to integrate, at the earliest stage, new measurement devices for demanding customers. Metrologic is thus providing the market with efficient solutions and compatibility with the latest technologies, within the shortest time.
