ITA – Sales Representative North-East of Italy (m/w)

Location: This job position is remote based in Italy for the Lombardy, Triveneto and Emilia-Romagna regions.

The Position
As Sales Representative for our Italian Subsidiary, you will work within a world-class team to promote and sell Metrologic products and services. You will cultivate current customers, new direct customers, resellers and integrators within this area in order to grow revenues. A willingness to travel to customer locations with the necessary frequency to grow the business.

His/Her mission includes:

  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Meet sales goals and objectives through aggressive sales activities and by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and ensure consistent business follow-up.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Company’s current and future products and solutions.
  • Provide weekly updates, accurate territory sales forecast, monthly status reports, and quarterly sales projection reports.
  • Obtain and report current on market information in the region (trends, competition, pricing, etc.)
  • Coordinate and participate in exhibitions, conferences, trade-shows, user group meetings, and industry and product webinars with a customer-specific value focus to introduce new products to customers and distributors.
  • Develop and manage sales funnel by monitoring funnel growth, accuracy, and conversion in CRM (pref. Salesforce)
  • Prioritize and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills required:

  • 3-6 Years sales experience selling to manufacturers.
  • Ability to generate and qualify customer leads and track via CRM.
  • Ability to handle technical objections and clearly articulate the product architecture and its benefits.
  • Ability to identify decision-makers and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Ability to speak a fluent English
